Conferences and The Whole Armour of God

Conferences

For the past three weeks we have been attending a conference each week.
This zone conference included four zones:  Lilburn, Roswell, Marietta and Cartersville.  This represents half the mission.

Earlier this week, Sister Erickson was invited to attend a conference for all the sisters in the mission.
The sisters comprise almost forty percent of all the missionaries in this mission.

President Marsh speaks for less than 15 minutes at each conference, but when he does he is very dynamic and animated.
President Marsh in his element.

Sister Marsh is also very much involved in each conference and is an excellent presenter and speaker.
Here she enjoys a light moment.

At each zone conference the mission fleet is inspected.
Shades of the popular movie "No Time for Sergeants".

Zone Softball

Once again our zone had a softball game.
Sister Erickson hits the ball!  At the sisters conference every sister was given a special award.  Sister Erickson received the "Natural Athlete Award".

It was a perfect day for softball.

The Family

This week in the "Come, Follow Me" course of study, our grandchildren are learning about "putting on the whole armour of God".  Ephesians 6:10-18.
We are so thankful for these special spirits that have come into our extended family and especially grateful that they are learning the Gospel.

The Missionary Couple of the Week

Sister and Elder Thorne, from Bountiful, UT, came out to enjoy the softball game with us.
They work in the mission office as the financial secretary and housing coordinator.  Together they are responsible to rent and take care of 95 missionary apartments throughout the mission.

Until next week, atê logo.
