Zone Softball
This week we had a special treat and were able to participate in a softball game for our zone.
The field was perfect but the weather was muggy. One run to first base and you were wringing wet with sweat for the rest of the game.
Everybody hits and everybody gets on base.
Sister Erickson was a shoe in for right field. She actually caught the ball once. I was proud of her.
President Marsh pitched for both sides.
Elder Josephson played the most important position.
The losers had to do fifteen pushups.
The Roswell Zone
It was a great day!
English Connect
One of our responsibilities is to teach English to non-English speaking people. We use a curriculum created by the Church called EnglishConnect.
Many Portuguese speaking people from Brazil, who are not members of the Church, come every Tuesday and Thursday night to attend class.
Another Special Temple Trip
On Friday Sister Erickson and I attended the Atlanta Temple. As we sat in the ordinance room, a couple and their son came and sat down beside us. To our surprise they were from Brazil.

Their oldest son, Ammon, was preparing for his mission to St. Louis, Missouri. Note my 'family history' tie patterned after the flag of Norway.
The Couple of the Week
Kevin and Kathy Bell are from Mountain Green, UT. In April we had a wonderful lunch with them at the famous Taggart's Grill just north of Morgan, UT.
The Missionaries
Sister Hammons, Sister Fowler and Sister Cowan.
These wonderful sisters serve as Sister Training Leaders and are fantastic at teaching missionary principles and techniques to all missionaries at the various zone conferences.
Until next time. Até logo.
