The Story of the Moroni Tie
This week Elder Erickson spoke in Sacrament Meeting. Other than bearing our testimonies, this was the first time that we were assigned to give talks in Portuguese including our time in Cape Verde.
Families can be together forever!
We hope to continue our tradition of having missionaries for Sunday dinner.

When our daughter, Lisa, was a little girl, I was often away from home on Priesthood business. For my birthday she gave me a new tie imprinted with the statue of Moroni. I committed that whenever I gave a talk or taught a lesson, I would wear that tie so Lisa would know what I was doing when I left our home. Today, since I was giving a talk, I wore my Moroni tie. That small tradition has had me thinking about my family today and how grateful I am for my wife and the wonderful children that we have. I miss my children and grandchildren but am forever thankful for our family unit that is sealed together for all time and eternity. |
We hope yáll have a wonderful week.
Beautiful pictures and wonderful words! Love to you both
