Second Week at the MTC
This week we concluded our training at the MTC. On Monday we spent the day in Salt Lake City and toured Welfare Square. We met for lunch at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and had additional humanitarian aid training for the rest of the day. The remainder of the week (Tuesday thru Thursday) was spent at the MTC and we continued to receive training specific to our call as welfare missionaries (humanitarian aid). Currently we are back home for three days and tomorrow, July 16th, we will be off to Cape Verde. Sister Erickson and I couldn't be more excited.

Elder and Sister Erickson, We are so excited for you to be going out to Cape Verde! You will be a great addition to the mission there. Can't wait to see more of what you are going to be doing and the people you are going to make friends with! We will take good care of the kids while you are gone. ;)
